PRIVACY POLICY


This Privacy Policy explains how Demand. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit or make a purchase from our store. We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA AND OUR LAWFUL BASES

- To take payment and prevent fraud — lawful basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interests.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We share your personal data only where necessary:

- With Shopify, which hosts our store and processes your information to provide the Services to us.
- With payment providers to process your payment.
- With delivery and fulfilment partners to deliver your order.
- With the analytics, advertising and email providers listed above.
- With professional advisers, regulators or authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.


INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We ship to the UK and Europe, and some of our providers (such as those above) may process data outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure it is protected by an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.


HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary. Order and transaction records are kept for at least 6 years to meet tax and accounting obligations. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept in line with the retention settings of the relevant tool.


YOUR RIGHTS

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances;
- object to or restrict our processing of your data;
- request your data in a portable format;

MARKETING

If you have signed up to our emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us. We will stop sending marketing promptly after you opt out.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
